Wisconsin Has The Nation’s Cheapest Gas

If you happen to live in The Badger State, filling up at the pump is taking the least bite out of your wallet.

According to GasBuddy’s Head Petroleum Analyst, Patrick De Haan, Wisconsin had the cheapest fuel prices in all of the US on Friday.

A Shell station in Francis Creek was selling a gallon of regular for just 75 cents. By the afternoon, several other service stations were battling to the bottom.

While gas below a buck looks great now, De Haan notes, “The longer prices remain lower, the higher risk we are of prices eventually going up sharply. Maybe not in the months ahead, but in the years ahead.”
