Teens In Wisconsin Can Also Get Drivers Licenses Without Taking A Road Test

Just because the department of motor vehicles is shut due to the coronavirus outbreak, teenagers shouldn’t be deprived of getting behind the wheel.

Following in the footsteps of Georgia, Wisconsin will also start waiving the road test requirement to get a driver’s license.

Close to 20,000 new drivers hit the road in the Peach State last month under the new policy, and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation estimates that another 10,000 will receive their full privileges.

While most teens are happy to still take part in this rite of passage, others in these states are calling the move dangerous.
