Despite being misled in a 2017 phone call, Vice President Mike Pence says he’d welcome Michael Flynn back to the team.

I think Gen. Michael Flynn is an American patriot, he served this country with great distinction,” Pence told Axios in an interview that aired Sunday. “And for my part, I’d be happy to see Michael Flynn again.”

The former Trump national security adviser was also charged with lying to the FBI about his dealings with the former Russian Ambassador.

And while the Bill Barr led DOJ has decided to drop the case, Flynn isn’t in the clear, yet. He had already pleaded guilty; so, that means the judge has to officially toss the case. While some are hoping that won’t happen, current law doesn’t actually provide much discretion.
