After a peacock ran away from the Franklin Park Zoo, a quick-thinking cop knew exactly what to do.

According to the Boston Globe , a patrol working in the Roxbury area on Monday encountered “an extremely large, slightly intimidating, and quite beautiful, male peacock.”

Pulling out his phone, the officer played a mating call, which brought the bird named Snowbank over to him where police were able to keep it safe until Boston Animal Control arrived.

Since peacocks aren’t able to swipe on dating apps, a zoo official noted, “It is currently mating season, and it’s possible he ventured out looking for love, in search of a peahen.”
