Washington state is getting ready to allow restaurants to reopen – as long as they keep track of who’s dining there.

Gov. Jay Inslee released his ‘Phase 2’ plan this week, which would require restaurants to keep a log of customer phone numbers and emails, to “facilitate any contact tracing that may need to occur”.

Restaurants will also be required to operate at no more than 50 percent capacity and keep each table at least six feet apart.
