Just like movie theaters and concerts, Broadway shows have been shut down since mid-March. And they’re going to remain dark until at least September.

On Tuesday, the Broadway League announced that its 41 theaters would remain closed through at least Sept. 6th.

It’s a major economic blow, as Broadway ticket sales account for more than $1.75 billion a year.
