Gov. Ron DeSantis not only says ‘play ball’ to pro sports teams in Florida, but has offered an open invite to every team.

“All professional sports are welcome here for practicing and for playing,” ESPN reports DeSantis said at a Wednesday presser.

Adding, “What I would tell commissioners of the leagures is, if you have a team in an area where they just won’t let them operate, we’ll find a place for you here in the state of Florida.”

The announcement comes a day after Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey tossed out a proverbial first-pitch of his own. For now, teams will have to play without live crowd noise.
