Redskins running back Adrian Peterson plans to take a knee this season and expects others to join him during the National Anthem.

Just four years ago, you’re seeing Kaepernick taking a knee, and now we’re all getting ready to take a knee together going into this season, without a doubt,” Peterson told the Houston Chronicle.

The move planned in the wake of George Floyd’s arrest death and the killings of other African-Americans at the hands of law enforcement.
