Fox News says former Vice President Joe Biden has officially assembled a team to help him transition to the White House should he defeat President Trump in November.

Former Delaware Senator Ted Kaufman, who took Biden’s senate seat when he became VP, will lead all of the early transition efforts.

In a statement Kaufman said Biden wants to immediately handle several issues should he become president, like confronting “an ongoing global health pandemic ” and inheriting “an economy in its worst shape since the Great Depression.”

Former Obama Foundation COO Yohannes Abraham has also been named to Biden’s transition team and will oversee all day-to-day operations.
