Episode 85: A Festive December in the City

On this episode of Show & Tell with Andrea Darlas, we give you four ways to get festive as the holiday season marches on! First, Artistic Director Liza Malamut guides us into the musical world of “A Latin American Christmas” with the Newberry Consort. Then, Double Tony Award Nominee Jennifer Weber shares her passion as the co-creator, director, and choreographer of “Hip Hop Nutcracker,” a unique version of the beloved classic. After that, we head over to Chicago’s very own Greektown neighborhood! Tia Angelos guides us through the holiday happenings, including a Shopper’s Reward program and a Holiday Karavákia display. Finally, Curtis Bannister tells us all about what it’s like to play a nose (yes, a NOSE!) in the Russian masterpiece, “The Nose.” So, whatever way you choose to get out and get festive this week, we hope you continue to have a wonderful December in the city!
