The free rides will be available from 10 Sunday night through 4 am on Monday. You won’t need to tap your Ventra card, phones or watches at CTA turnstiles or when boarding the bus. If you do touch your card you will not get a refund during the free ride period. The CTA will operate on a Saturday schedule on New Years Eve.
