Chicago police issue an alert over dozens of crash-and-grabs

Chicago police are connecting nearly two-dozen crimes from May to July at liquor and retail stores taking place mostly on the South Side. After the alert was issued on Thursday there was a burglary and attempted burglary at two liquor stores, one at A and S Beverages at 75th and South Prairie and George’s food and liquor on W 95th street.
