Metra is now running hourly shuttles between O’hare and downtown as tens of thousands of visitors are expected to travel through O’hare for the Democratic National Convention. The hourly trains will run seven days a week along with six regular trains through August 30th. The shuttles will make two stops in addition to the airport and Union Station. The last shuttle will leave O’hare at 10:45pm. Chicago based United is adding 118 flights to Chicago for the DNC and the CTA is adding hundreds of buses as part of a secure transit system for those heading to the convention.
