The Department of Justice is offering a $5 million reward for information leading to the arrest of an FBI Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive MS-13 leader, whose alias is “Porky.”
Yulan Adonay Archaga Carias is believed to be the leader of MS-13 for all of Honduras, but has been operating in New York. When he was first placed on the FBI’s most wanted list in 2021, the government had offered $100,000 for information leading to his arrest.
The new $5 million reward level shows how much the FBI and the Department of Justice want him off the streets. He’s charged with racketeering, narcotics trafficking, and firearms offenses.
The accused MS-13 gang leader is also on the most wanted lists of several other U.S. law enforcement and immigration departments, including the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The DEA’s acting administrator, Derek Maltz, said, “With MS-13 now officially designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, the rules have changed — and so has the mission. Archaga Carías isn’t just a fugitive — he’s a foreign terrorist waging war on innocent Americans through murder, trafficking, and terror.”
The notorious MS-13 gang has been highlighted daily for weeks due to deported Maryland resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s alleged connection with the gang and surrounding political and court battles over his mid-March deportation to El Salvador.
