(CHICAGO) Those flying out of Midway Airport will have a new place to park starting next week when a new daily parking lot opens to the public.

The Chicago Department of Aviation will open the new lot on 55th Street between Cicero and Kilpatrick (site of the former Yellow Lot) on Monday. The entrance and exit are both located on Kilpatrick Avenue.

The new daily lot will “serve as an easy-in/easy-out alternative to daily parking in the Main Terminal garage,” a statement from Aviation said.

The cost to park is $32 per day and the lot includes a dedicated shuttle bus lane for express service to terminals, newly paved and striped surfaces, new bus shelters and lighting.

The Aviation Department recommends checking its website, flychicago.com, or tuning to ParkNet Radio (AM1630) in advance to determine the availability of parking spaces.
