(GLENDALE HEIGHTS) Four businesses in west suburban Glendale Heights were cited for selling alcohol to minors last month.

The Glendale Heights Police Department conducted a village-wide compliance check of businesses that sell alcohol on Jan. 27, according to a statement from the department.

Out of 40 businesses that were inspected, four were cited for selling alcohol products to a person under the age of 21:

— Hickory River BBQ, 2130 Bloomingdale Road;

— Kabuki Japanese Steak House, 19 E. North Ave.;

— Walgreens, 2040 Glen Ellyn Road;

— Osco Drug Store, 2164 Bloomingdale Road.
