(CHICAGO) One of the Chicago Cub’s biggest fans, is recovering after knee surgery.
Ronnie “Woo Woo” Wickers tells the Jonathan Brandmeier Show on WLS that he slipped and fell last week.
“Year I fell. I was going down the steps and I slipped and I fell,” Wickers said. “My knees were buckled between the seats.”
Listen to Ronnie “Woo Hoo” on with Jonathon Brandmeier’s show, weekdays 9am – 11am on WLS-AM 890.
Wickers needed left knee surgery and could be sidelined for the rest of the season as he undergoes physical therapy but he remains forever optimistic that the Cubs will make the world series.
“They are going to be there and I’m going to be there too. It’s mind over matter and it does matter that I’m hurt but I’m going to be there for the World Series.”
Wickers, while not associated with the Cubs Organization, has been a fixture at Cubs games since the 60’s.
