(CHICAGO) There is local reaction to Donald Trump’s press conference Wednesday in New York. One Illinois congressman says Trump is, “bringing his game.”
U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam (R-Wheaton) tells Big John and Ray on WLS that Trump is clearly developing his own style.
“Most Republicans were surprised that Donald Trump won the election based on the numbers that everybody was seeing, but the Democrats essentially felt like they passed a kidney stone, so they have not figured out how to deal with this guy,” Roskam said Thursday morning.
And Roskam says the press has yet to figure Trump out as well. Trump berated CNN and BuzzFeed for their handling of an unsubstantiated report that Russia had collected compromising sexual and financial information about Trump, while Trump praised other news outlets.
