(CHICAGO) Mother Nature is forcing a ski club in the far northwest suburbs to postpone its annual tournament.
The warm temperatures have forced the Norge Ski Club in Fox River Grove to reschedule their 112th International Winter Tournament set for this weekend. It’s the first time in the club’s 112 year history that the tournament has been postponed.
The club, which is the oldest continuously open ski club in the U.S., will now hold their Junior competitions on Saturday, February 11 and their K70 – U.S. Cup Five Hills Tournament on Sunday, February 12.
