(CHICAGO) A man was shot early Monday near the United Center on the Near West Side.

The shooting happened in the 2200 block of West Adams at 3:37 a.m., police said.

A 39-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
