As Kankakee River rises, road closures continue

(KANKAKEE) Various area roads have been closed along the rising Kankakee River in areas including Aroma Park, Momence, and Kankakee in Kankakee County.

Closures:

  • 1810E Rd Between Airport Rd and 5000S Rd – Closed. Due to flooding
  • River Rd Between 6000S Rd and Otto Rd – Closed. Due to flooding
  • 2500N Rd in both directions Between CR-54 and 2700N Rd – Closed. Due to flooding
  • River South Rd Between 1780N Rd and 10000E Rd – Closed. Due to flooding
