Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., highlights his support for former President Donald Trump’s economic policies in a new ad for his reelection campaign released over the weekend, the Delaware Valley Journal reported.
The ad features a couple from Old Forge, Pennsylvania, one a Republican and one a Democrat. They praise Casey, a three-term senator from a state with strong ties to President Joe Biden, for having “bucked Biden to protect fracking, and he sided with Trump to end NAFTA and put tariffs on China to stop them from cheating.”
The New York Times reported that the ad has run almost 100 times on television channels in Pennsylvania, typically in strong Republican areas like Johnstown and Altoona.
