(CHICAGO) A ramp to the Bishop Ford Freeway from 103rd Street will be closed this weekend for repairs starting Friday night.
The ramp to the inbound Bishop Ford (I-94) will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday as crews make repairs, according to a statement from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
A posted detour will direct drivers onto the outbound Bishop Ford, and have them turn around at 115th Street, IDOT said.
Motorists should expect delays and allow extra travel time.

(CHICAGO) A woman may have been injured in a Far South Side shooting on the Bishop Ford Freeway late Wednesday.
The shooting happened about 11 p.m. in the northbond lanes of I-94, between 111th Street and Stony Island Avenue, according to Illinois State Police Sgt. Alex Diaz. Two vehicles were involved in the incident.
Diaz said police were still trying to narrow down the details of what happened as of 12:40 a.m. Thursday.
A female, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital, but it wasn’t known if she was shot or injured in another way, Diaz said.
Police were questioning two people early Thursday.

(DOLTON) A speeding pickup truck drove onto the back of an empty car carrier early Thursday on the Bishop Ford Freeway in south suburban Dolton.
The incident happened about 3:30 a.m. on I-94 near Sibley Boulevard, Illinois State Police said. Both vehicles were traveling south when the pickup – which was traveling at a high rate of speed – boarded onto the rear of the car carrier.
The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries and was taken to Munster Community Hospital, police said.
No citations were issued, but police said the incident is still under investigation.
