Chicago should aspire to like DuPage County

During the pandemic people left Chicago in droves and moved out to DuPage County because of the better market and safety, that’s because of men like Joe Soto and Sheriff James Mendrick.  Joe Soto is running for DuPage county board and wants to work on the budget to make sure his county has the right services provided for them, including lowering interest rates on homes for people.  Sheriff James Mendrick takes pride in their correctional facility program, rather than not punishing crime at all they take criminals in and rehabilitate them to give them a second chance at a good life.

DuPage County launches app to report road issues

(CHICAGO) Earlier this month, an app to report road issues was launched by DuPage County transportation.

The web-based application allows residents to report potholes, signal outages and other safety issues, according to a statement from DuPage County.

Residents can access the web app at gis.dupageco.org/citizenreporter or through the county’s Navigate DuPage app, authorities said.

“This app is one more tool in our kit as we work to keep our roads in excellent condition,” said DuPage County Transportation Committee Chairman Don Puchalski in the statement. “Using the application, motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians can alert us to an unsafe condition so we can remedy the situation much faster. It’s a win-win for our taxpayers and our road crews.”
