(CHICAGO) A man robbed a Loop bank branch Thursday afternoon.
About 2: 30 p.m., the man walked into the bank in the 0 – 100 block of South Lasalle Street and spoke with a teller, before running away with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
Maps show a Citibank branch is located on that block.
Police said the man did not show a weapon and no one was injured in the robbery. Additional details were not immediately available.
(Chicago) Police issued an alert after three recent burglaries in the Loop.
The robberies occurred in late December and early January, where at least one person forcibly entered a home by prying doors open, according to a statement from Chicago Police.
The robberies occurred:
—Dec. 20, at 3:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of South State;
—Dec. 31, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. in the 1100 block of South Michigan; and
—Jan. 5, between 1-3 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Federal.
