(YORKVILLE) A store in southwest suburban Yorkville sold a $500,000 winning lottery ticket for a Lucky Day Lotto drawing Sunday.
The winner, who has not yet come forward, bought the Lucky Day Lotto ticket at Circle K, 1421 N. Bridge St., and matched all five numbers – 10 – 19 – 25 – 26 – 28 – in the Jan. 31 midday drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.
Circle K will receive a$5,000 bonus, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
The winner has one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize, which they can pick up from Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.
