(CHICAGO) Some of the city’s museums will be free-of-charge with extended hours on Presidents Day.
The Adler Planetarium, Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium will have free general admission for Illinois residents on Feb. 16, according to a statement from an Adler spokesman.
Proof of Illinois residency must be provided to get a free ticket. Residents can also get all-access passes for a discounted price, the statement said.
Hours of operation for each museum:
-Adler Planetarium at 1300 S. Lake Shore Drive: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-Field Museum at 1400 S. Lake Shore Drive: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-Shedd Aquarium at 1200 S. Lake Shore Drive: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
