(BARRINGTON HILLS) An Arlington Heights man who was reported missing was found dead Wednesday morning in a northwest suburban forest preserve.
An employee found 38-year-old Timothy Anderson’s body about 10:20 a.m. in the Spring Creek Valley forest preserve in Barrington Hills, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office and Arlington Heights police.
Anderson was reported missing after he was last seen at his Arlington Heights residence at 4:30 a.m. Monday, according to a missing person alert from Arlington Heights police. His vehicle was found later that evening at the intersection of Donlea Road and Bateman Road on the edge of the preserve.
Authorities are conducting a death investigation, but cause and manner of death will be determined by the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday.
